Q. The R | Trader installation file says my computer requires .Net framework 1.1. However upon downloading .Net 4.0 my installation will not complete. What do I do?
A. Please download the .Net Framework 1.1 Redistributable package here.
Q. How do I add a symbol to my quote board?
A. Right click an empty cell under the description column where you wish to place the symbol. Select “Search and Add Symbol” from the menu to open a new window. Click the ‘+’ sign for the exchange that the product is traded on. Double click the product you wish to trade from the expanded menu. Now highlight the specific contract in the right window and click the add button on the bottom right of the window.
Q. How do I open an Order Book for my particular contract?
A. Right click the contract you wish to trade on the quote board. Select “Order Book” from the menu to open a pre-populated Order Book.
Q. I placed an order through my broker/order desk and now I can’t see the position on R | Trader. What do I do?
A. Orders placed in this manner are not detected by R | Trader. Please call Vision's Trading Applications Group at +1.866.594.2342 or e-mail tag@visionfinancialmarkets.com.
Q. How do I see my current positions?
A. Click on the “Performance Analysis” icon in the left window.
